It apparently will take three high-profile actors to help finish the final film starring late actor Heath Ledger.
A spokeswoman for Jude Law told the British Broadcasting Corp. that Law, Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell will step into Ledger's role in the unfinished fantasy film "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus."Ledger died Jan. 22 after he was found unresponsive by his masseuse in his Manhattan apartment. The New York Medical Examiner's office determined that the actor died of an accidental prescription drug overdose.Production on director Terry Gilliam's magic-themed film was suspended upon Ledger's death. The spokeswoman told the BBC that she was unaware how the part will be restructured.According the BBC, the film is about a traveling theater troupe that offers audience members the chance to pass through a magical mirror to alternate dimensions. An Oscar nominee for his starring role in "Brokeback Mountain," Ledger also starred in such films as "10 Things I Hate About You," "Monster's Ball" and "The Patriot."Ledger previously worked with Gilliam on "The Brothers Grimm."The actor had already finished his role as the Joker in the "Batman Begins" sequel "The Dark Knight." The film is scheduled to be released in July.Ledger, 28, left behind a daughter, Matilda, whom he fathered with fellow "Brokeback Mountain" star Michelle Williams. He was buried in his hometown of Perth, Australia, earlier this month.
