Sheen Arrested On Assault Charge In Colo.

ASPEN, Colo. -- “Two And A Half Men” star Charlie Sheen was arrested on Christmas Day after a domestic violence situation in Aspen, Colo., police said.

Sheen, 44, of Encino, Calif., was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief, the Aspen Police Department said.

The incident involved Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller, the Web site RadarOnline.com reported.

An Aspen ambulance responded to the scene, but the victim did not require hospitalization, authorities said.

Sheen was being held without bond until he can appear in court at the Pitkin County Courthouse. However, police said a court date has not been set.

Authorities said that Colorado mandates a protection order between those arrested on domestic violence charges and their victims.

Circumstances surrounding what happened at the home were unclear, but the Aspen Police Department said it anticipates providing an update on the case on Saturday.
