Justin Timberlake continues to express embarrassment over the Janet Jackson Super Bowl stunt that bared her breast.

Timberlake said it's Jackson's fault that the Super Bowl performance ended up the way it did.

Timberlake told a Los Angeles television station he thought when he pulled off part of Jackson's costume, there'd be a red bra or bustier left behind -- not Jackson's bare breast, but something went wrong.

He says he was blindsided by Jackson.

Timberlake said even his own family was offended.

Timberlake said he understands a lot of people were offended by what happened, including his own family. He calls the incident "completely, completely, completely regrettable."

"(I) got to the field. Went on stage. Was in the moment and when what happened happened, I was completely shocked and appalled and all I could say is 'Oh my God! Oh my God!,'" Timberlake said.

He said the idea originated with Jackson and her choreographer but said they didn't have time to rehearse it before the halftime show.

Jackson May Skip Grammys

Jackson's publicist is telling CNN that the pop star may skip the Grammy awards ceremony on Sunday.

Both "Access Hollywood" and "Entertainment Tonight" are reporting that Jackson won't be participating in a tribute to Luther Vandross.

The event will be a week after most of Jackson's breast was bared during the televised halftime show of the Super Bowl on CBS.

The singer has issued videotaped and written apologies and denied anyone involved in the show knew of her plans to do -- what's being called -- a "costume reveal."

Meantime, CBS is promising to set up a video delay system to avoid any similar incidents at the Grammys.

Timberlake's Bandmate Booted From Pro Bowl Show

The NFL has banned one of Justin Timberlake's bandmates from the Pro Bowl halftime show this coming Sunday.

The NFL bounced J.C. Chasez -- a member of the boy band *N Sync -- because of Jackson and Timberlake's breast-baring exhibition.

The Pro Bowl is to be televised live on ESPN.

The current single from Chasez's debut album is "Some Girls (Dance With Women)." Another of his songs is "All Day Long I Dream About Sex." It's unclear what song he was to perform at the Pro Bowl.

The new halftime plan is for a Hawaiian extravaganza featuring hula dancers, drummers, conch shell blowers and local singers.

Chasez issued a statement saying he was disappointed, but understands the pressure the NFL has been under since the Super Bowl. (Full Story)
