The family of Marlon Brando is not releasing any details on funeral services for the late acting legend.

"Out of respect for my father, the services will be private. My family and I would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and words," one of Brando's sons, Miko, said in a statement.

The enigmatic film star, who won Best Actor Oscars for the iconic roles of Don Vito Corleone in "The Godfather" and Terry Malloy in "On the Waterfront," died Thursday of lung failure. He was 80.

Tributes poured in from across Hollywood as the news of Brando's death broke Friday, which included remembrances from his "Godfather" director Francis Ford Coppola, as well as the film's co-stars Robert Duvall, James Caan and Al Pacino.

"I was shocked and deepy saddened at the loss of the greatest acting genius of our time," Pacino said in a statement. "What will we do without Marlon in this world?"

Brando's last feature film role was in the Robert De Niro-Edward Norton heist drama "The Score," which was released in 2001.

But, according to Variety, there is one more film role on the way.

The trade paper said that Brando finished voicing a role for an independent animated feature called "Big Bug" on June 17. The film is expected to be in theaters in the spring of 2006.
