I have a feeling this Christian Slater movie "Alone In The Dark" (click on the movie title and you'll see the trailer) is going to do decent business this weekend. I also think Robert DeNiro's "Hide And Seek" will scare up a few movie dollars. In other words, "Are We There Yet?" looks like a one-week wonder at the top of the box office. I'm not saying that these movies will be great by any stretch of the imagination. Late January is hardly a hot release date. But you never know. The guy who sits next to me, Parker Hodges, (pictured, left) refused to offer his opinion on this matter. But he again reminds readers to bookmark this page. (He's like a zombie, always saying that.) Away we go!
The Oscar InteractiveWith the Oscars coming up, we put together a pretty cool interactive piece highlighting the nominees. Our entertainment guy, Tim Lammers, put together the content, and our graphic artist Lee Allan made it look great, as usual. It's a must see. Just click here.
The New Ringo ShowStan Lee, the creator of Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four, now wants to make a SuperStarr out of Ringo Starr. Lee, 82, is developing a direct-to-DVD project which will turn the ex-Beatle into an animated superhero. Look for it in 2006. For more on the project, click here.
The Super Bowl Hype Section, Part 2Not much news from the Eagles or Patriots today. But I put together this dandy slideshow on how to play paper football. Read it and use it in the spirit in which it's intended: to waste time at work and/or school. At least those in charge can't rip you for constantly playing video games. Learn all about it right here. And remember: Just win, baby.
The QuestionTime now for our big question. We want to know if you think Philadelphia Eagles superstar receiver Terrell Owens will ignore his leg injury and suit up for Super Bowl XXXIX. The latest news has T.O. practicing, but his doctor washing his hands of any liability. We'd like your prediction. And to make things, easier, it's your basic yes or no question. Just click
