'S' Marks Spot For 'Superman Returns' MySpace Page

More Than 10,000 Fans Upload 'S' Photos

Now Superman fans can fly up, up and away -- over to MySpace.com.

In celebration of the highly anticipated release of "Superman Returns," fans of the Man of Steel are being invited to upload their favorite photos of themselves wearing the Superman "S" symbol on the "Superman Returns" MySpace page.

According to Warner Bros., more than 10,000 superfans posted their "S" photos on the day the function went live.

Visitors to the page can also download wallpapers and buddy icons.

Starring Brandon Routh as Superman/Clark Kent, "Superman Returns" follows the story of the superhero as he returns to Earth from space after a mysterious absence of several years.

Once back, Superman must not only face off against Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey) -- who wants to render him powerless once and for all -- he also must deal with the heartbreaking realization that his love, Lois Lane (Kate Bosworth), who has apparently moved on with her life while he was gone.

Directed by Bryan Singer, "Superman Returns" also stars James Marsden, Frank Langella, Eva Marie Saint and Parker Posey.

Previously set for a June 30 release, "Superman Returns" opens June 28 in theaters and on IMAX screens.

The IMAX version will contain 20 minutes of the film where scenes are converted from 2D to 3D.
