One Great Dane is big enough -- but how about 17 of them?Stephanie Pino's Great Dane had a great big litter last month. After about 20 hours of labor her dog Kyla gave birth to 19 puppies, of which 16 survived."They just kept coming and coming and coming, and we were like, 'Oh my gosh,'" Pino told the Grand Junction, Colo., Sentinel newspaper. Now, those pups are 12 to 15 pounds each and growing fast. The newspaper reported that the puppies have gone through 1,600 puppy potty training pads. And during the first weeks, the Pinos supplemented the puppies’ diet with $200 to $300 worth of formula for puppies.Pino said the head of the puppies' daddy, Haze, is bigger than the body of one of his offspring. Haze weighs in at more than 200 pounds. When he stretches out, he’s roughly 7 feet long.Pino plans to offer the Great Dane pups for sale when they're old enough.
