A soon-to-be bride might be having second thoughts about her marriage; her future mother law certainly is.

The matter of etiquette in the Bourne family is now a matter of public record after Carolyn Bourne's censuring email went viral online. The mother of Freddie Bourne pulled no punches in her scathing address to her future daughter-in-law. From the salutation, the letter was brutal.

"It is high time someone explained to you about good manners. Yours are obvious by their absence and I feel sorry for you," read Carolyn Bourne's email.

The letter slammed Heidi Withers for her apparently numerous character and etiquette flaws. Bourne, whom many have dubbed the stepmother from hell, delivered a grueling play-by-play of Withers' recent visit with the family.

"Unfortunately for Freddie, he has fallen in love with you and Freddie being Freddie, I gather it is not easy to reason with him or yet encourage him to consider how he might be able to help you. It may just be possible to get through to you though. I do hope so," read the email. "Your behavior on your visit to Devon during April was staggering in its uncouthness and lack of grace."

Withers forwarded the email to several friends, who then forwarded it to more, eventually turning it into a viral hit, reported the London Evening Standard.

Withers' email continued with "a few examples of your lack of manners:"

"When you are a guest in another's house, you do not declare what you will and will not eat - unless you are positively allergic to something. You do not remark that you do not have enough food. You do not start before everyone else."

The email even touched on the upcoming wedding; which was a bit gaudy for the stepmother-to-be.

"No one gets married in a castle unless they own it. It is brash, celebrity style behavior," read the email.

Withers' father, Alan Withers, shot back at Bourne in an interview with U.K.'s Daily Mail. He said she "has her head stuck so far up her own a--, she doesn’t know whether to speak or fart."

The wedding is still set for October -- in the great hall of Berkeley Castle in Gloucestershire -- despite the very public ugliness between the families.
