A pair of dogs is looking for a new home -- but only one is actually doing the looking.

Yellow Labrador retrievers Duke and Daisy are always together; which is good news for Daisy, who is totally blind.

"She’s 10 and she's completely blind," professional dog trainer Leda Blom told Minnesota TV station WCCO. "So she follows his lead."

Duke, Daisy's pup, keeps a tight leash on his mother. He's become his mother's own guide dog.

Daisy still finds plenty of walls and stairs with an old-fashioned bump, but Duke keeps a close eye on her.

"He doesn't let her out of his sight too much. If she goes around a corner, he's very quick to follow up on where she is," Blom said.

The duo is currently in foster care with the Minnesota pet adoption agency Secondhand Hounds. Their old owners lost their house and said they had no choice but to put them up for adoption.
