Want to shoot your loved one? One company is here to help -- but it might not be what you think.

Thanks to two former game wardens, anyone who wants to take one last hunting trip can bring his or her deceased friend or family member along in a pocket and in a gun.

The men behind Holy Smokes said they were talking about death when the topic of turning ashes into ammunition popped up. The idea blossomed, and became a business built on a cheaper and more ecologically sound alternative to burial.

A bit of morbid curiosity and gallows humor plays a big role in the company.

"Now, you can continue to protect your home and family even after you are gone," reads a quote from Holy Smokes' website.

The company charges $1,250 for 250 shotgun shells or 100 rifle cartridges created with the ashes. They also offer a commemorative shell box to replace the tired old urn.
