SHAPLEIGH, Maine -- Shapleigh's “Hot Dog Lady” has reached a compromise with town and state officials that will allow her to continue selling wieners along Mousam Lake in her trademark bikini. Officials Monday agreed to let Kit Schultze keep her cart at the intersection of Routes 11 and 109, as long as she parks her pickup truck somewhere else and sets up traffic cones around the cart.Schultze, 26, who has been serving hot dogs from the same spot for 11 summers, claimed town officials didn’t like her bikini.Selectmen in Shapleigh said their only concern was whether her cart posed a safety hazard.
