Table 6 is one of the most exciting restaurants in Denver and a treat for the very popular East 6th Avenue dining scene. Seating only 42 people, the interior features hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, a focal-point kitchen with copper trim and a small bar area for gathering. Bistro chalkboards with dessert and wine lists, beautiful wood tables and black leather chairs set the scene. The overall atmosphere is charming and upbeat. The food is extremely creative and Executive Chef Scott Parker does an amazing job with his interpretation of the dishes on this small menu. Start with calamari "shells and Cheese" with mascarpone and fried capers or lamb Reuben sliders. Entrees change often but the slow roasted chicken with artichoke, mushroom dumplings, and duck confit with grilled endive and pears are examples of the creativity of chef. The excellent wine complements the food. Owner Aaron Forman heads the front of the house and delights the guests. Service shines with an informative, friendly staff. The very exclusive Robb Report rates Table 6 as one of the top 100 restaurants in the world, deservedly so. Table 6 does a remarkable job in every way and is top notch Denver dining.Don't miss: pineapple upside down suckling pig (a pineapple upside down cake over succulent slices of pork); grilled wild salmon with lemon couscous and calamari salad.

Cuisine: MediterraneanPeople from all over flock to Mizuna so they can feast on some of the city's most amazing and award-winning cuisine. The incredibly talented Chef/Owner Frank Bonanno has created a restaurant that brings a perfect night of dining. The room is not large but it is very comfortable with table and banquette seating, and a private dining area that can accommodate private parties of up to 15 people. The bar takes on a terrific look with a copper front, great wood, and seating for eight to enjoy drinks or dining. The front of the house runs flawlessly with grace and charm, doting on every guest. Frank's wife and partner, Jacqueline, brings a caring touch to each and every guest with her wonderful laugh and personality. The lobster macaroni-and-cheese appetizer is essential, rich with mascarpone and full of generous chunks of lobster. Other appetizers change monthly. Roasted duck breast with confit leg and lentils and hazelnut crusted ostrich with sweet potato start the list of entr?es. It is impossible to decide between seared diver scallops, rice crusted halibut in curry sauce, or veal and beef choices. The presentations, combinations and taste are flawless here. The wine list is excellent. An evening at Mizuna will long be remembered.Don't miss: Salmon with gnocchi; lobster mac and cheese.More Restaurant Choices:
