LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Three elementary school students were taken to a hospital Wednesday after receiving H1N1 shots, WLKY-TV in Louisville reported.Louisville Metro Public Health & Wellness has been working with Jefferson County Public Schools to give the 2009 H1N1 influenza vaccine to children at school. The school's principal said the three Shelby students were taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure after they experienced dizziness and light-headedness after receiving the shot.Another student, who has asthma, experienced shortness of breath.School officials said they didn't believe the kids were in any danger, but their parents were called and they asked that the children be taken to the hospital. The students have since been released.H1N1 doses in the Louisville area have gone out to thousands and health officials said residents still need to get them, despite the small national decline of H1N1 cases. The Health Department said a significant number of recipients are children and those in the high risk category.
