Chat With Limp Bizkit, John Gray, Radiohead

Also Tuesday: Michael Rapaport, No Authority, Dire Straits' Mark Knopfler

This just in: Probably the best band of our time, Radiohead, is audio-casting their first concert of highly anticipated tour today through the Web. Go here for more info.

Limp BizkitHope your neck feels limber, 'cuz there'll be some head-bangin' in the old town tonight. Hard rock hot commodity and someday tragic "Behind the Music" subject Limp Bizkit is Webcasting a concert, live through the Web, Webwise, so you'll be able to see it through the Web. On the Web, no less. And then you can chat with them at the same time! On the Web. Catch them on sandpiper.net starting at 9 p.m. EST, 8 p.m. CST, 7 p.m. MST, 6 p.m. PST. All on the Weird Wild Web.

You may know Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits for classics like "Money for Nothing" and "Sultans of Swing." But do you know the origin of their name? At the beginning of their career, they found themselves playing a terrible little Scottish town, and they weren't too happy about their careers. The town was adjacent to a tributary that was actually called Dire Straits. It seemed so appropriate that they changed their name from Monkey Joe and the Very Hairy Merrymakers to that of the aptly named waterway. (Editor's note: This is a bald-faced lie.) Chat with Knopfler on yahoo.com at 7 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. CST, 5 p.m. MST, 4 p.m. PST.

And now, for the ten zillionth time, I present the "No Authority blurb": Teenyboppers No Authority have a bit of a confusing moniker, don't they? Does it mean that they are addressing oppressive figures of authority and denying them (i.e., No, Authority!), are they celebrating the lack of said authority on their actions (i.e., No Authority! Yeah!), or are they answering the hypothetical question, "Should anarchy reign?"(i.e., No! Authority!)? Well, no matter, they're cute, they're poppy, and they're going to have a fun run. Chat with them on yahoo.com at 9 p.m. EST, 8 p.m. CST, 7 p.m. MST, 6 p.m. PST.

Want a big dumb-sounding white guy to star in your movie? Then I suggest you look no further than Michael Rapaport, my friend. Rapaport's impressive resume includes "Friends," "True Romance," "Beautiful Girls," "Mighty Aphrodite," "Cop Land," "Higher Learning" and "Deep Blue Sea." Now he's in Spike Lee's latest, Bamboozled, about which he'll be chatting on lycos.com at 10 p.m. EST, 9 p.m. CST, 8 p.m. MST, 7 p.m. PST.

John GrayDid you know that John Gray, the man behind the wildly successful "Men are From Mars, Women Are From Venus," was a friend of fellow TM practitioner Andy Kaufman? Isn't that wild? You don't care, do you. Well, anyway, John Gray is still riding the tidal wave of his brilliant initial concept, releasing "Mars and Venus in Love" soon. He'll be chatting on myprimetime.com at 5 p.m. EST, 4 p.m. CST, 3 p.m. MST, 2 p.m. PST.
