The "Terminator" character of John Connor has risen again -- in the form of actor Nick Stahl.
According to the Hollywood Reporter online, Stahl, who played the pivotal role of Sissy Spacek and Tom Wilkinson's son in the Oscar-nominated film "In The Bedroom," will play the coveted role of Connor, the reluctant future leader opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in the "T3: Rise of the Machines."
The third in the blockbuster "Terminator" series, the film goes into production April 15 in Los Angeles.
Connor was played as a 10-year-old by Edward Furlong in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day." In "T3," Stahl will play him as a 20-year-old.
Other cast members include Kristanna Loken, as a female terminator, and Linda Hamilton, whom Schwarzenegger said will return in flashback scenes as Sarah Connor, John Connor's mother.
