(continued ?) WGN pops in with a 1980s comedy classic that didn't spawn a CBS newsmagazine show. Not only was "48 Hours" Eddie Murphy's screen debut, it also marked the beginning of a long comeback for Nick Nolte. It's a fun flick, one worth seeing if you haven't watched it in awhile. It's on at 7 p.m. CDT on WGN.
Bravo pops in with the original two-hour pilot for "Moonlighting" which was the first most of us saw of Bruce Willis. That starts at 7 p.m. CDT.
More NHL playoffs on ESPN from 7 to 9 p.m. CDT. ESPN2, though, doesn't have any playoffs whatsover. Nope, instead, it has Karate at 7 p.m. CDT, a bowling rerun (rerun?) at 8 p.m. CDT and billiards at 9 p.m. CDT. The NBA playoffs tip off on TBS tonight, starting at 7 p.m. CDT.
In the battle of biotainment, "E! True Hollywood Stories" arrives at 8 p.m.CDT with a two-hour look at the cult TV hit "Bewitched" which had two different actors playing the husband during its primetime run. "Biography," meanwhile, turns to country music by profiling Reba McEntire for us. That's at 7 p.m. CDT on A&E. "Behind the Music" on VH1 pauses to consider "Blondie" emergence from new-wave music.
That's It. The End
