Ask people what their lucky number is, and many will say, "seven." So the fact that this Saturday is 07/07/07 certainly captured the attention of quite a few folks -- especially prospective brides and grooms.

NewsCenter Five's Pam Cross reported that Melissa Bradshaw and Jack Kirichian are getting married on Saturday.

"Seven bridesmaids and seven groomsmen. We have our reception starting at 7 p.m. The reception is lasting seven hours, and we have people traveling from seven countries," Bradshaw said.

The couple will marry on Saturday. They are not alone. Business is up 40 percent at Montilio's Bakery. Caterers, reception halls and florists are working extra for one special date.

"We have five sales reps, and they all came to me and said, 'We have 11 7/07 requests.' It's starting to add up to a lucky number, I guess," said George Montilio.

One of the cakes that Montilio's will make will have seven layers, with seven lilies and the No. 7 written on the cake.

"Between us, we have seven children. There is seven years between us. We will have been together for seven months by this weekend," said Glyn Morgan, who is getting married on Saturday.

Many couples said that they started planning years ago.

"It's an extremely busy day, and we were very surprised that we actually got it. So, it was meant for us to get married on July 7," said Morgan's bride-to-be Katarina Szczepanek.

"It's a big day. It's the date of the century. We got it. We had a date 10/10/10, but we couldn't wait," Kirichian said. "July 7 is better."
