1-4-00 New Cameras

Here are five new WorldCams to peek at until your next update in a week -- enjoy!

London -- So many people wrote in about this one, I can't remember who told me first to give credit. So, thank you ... you know who you are. The Millennium Bridge Cam allows you to choose the view! The camera pans among seven different landmarks ... choose each one from the pull-down menu and the cam will take you there, or pan yourself using the controls, zooming in and out as you please. Nice views at night as well as the day, this is an excellent cam if you have time to play with it.

Berlin -- A panorama of the area around the Expo 2000 Pavilion. You can see the blaring lights from what I think is the pavilion, along with some other structures. When I looked there wasn't a person in sight at 3 a.m. Berlin time.

Koh Samui, Thailand -- Here's a resort cam, only online during the following hours: 1 a.m. - 6 a.m. (EST/USA, GMT-5) and 10 p.m. - 3 a.m. (PST/USA, GMT-8). But worth a look if you're online during those hours.

Hong Kong -- Another Hong Kong cam. Choose from 6 different views, all of which appear pretty dark at night, so you'll want to catch it during the day. Check out the Petrus Cam for a view of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.

Seoul -- An elevated cam, looking down on a neighborhood in Seoul, Korea. You can see the cityscape in the distance, blocked a bit by a hillside that encloses the "village" of apartments. Updates every 30 seconds. Decent cam.

That's all for now!
