New Cameras 2-1-00
Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Oregon
This cam in northern Kentucky is not very impressive on the main page (scroll way down past the ads to see it). The image is blown-out and grainy, but if you click on either the streaming Java or streaming jpeg option, you get a pretty decent image, and a lot of light at night!
Here are some real-time cameras sent in by Peggy Jones. There are four snowy shots of Soo Locks, located in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. I have no idea where this is exactly, but that's what the page says about them. The page reloads automatically about every 60 seconds ... I think the one most worth looking at is the one from the Davis building. Clicking on the image will take you to a larger view.
This cam from Eastern Oregon University was sent in by regular viewers Ken and Barbara Bodda. Thank you! If you're familiar with the campus (located in La Grande, Ore.), you might like to know that this shot is a view from Inlow Hall. It's up-to-date, is fairly clear and has a large picture of (right now) a campus building. However, Ken tells me it often shows different, more interesting views of the Grande Ronde Valley.
Note: Laura updates this list of new Netcams every other Tuesday. If you know of any cams you'd like to have added to the list, just drop Laura an e-mail and she'd be glad to take a look at them!
