Charges Dropped Against Rodman, Electra
Couple Was Arrested For Domestic Battery In Miami
The on-again-off-again couple were arrested in Miami Nov. 5 after police were called to their hotel room. Neighbors reported hearing screaming and fighting.
The basketball star-turned-actor, 37, and former "Baywatch" babe, 26, were released on $2,500 bail and ordered to stay 500 feet from each other.
At the time, their attorney Roy Black told reporters the arrest was "an overreaction" and neither wanted to press charges. "They both told me that this was a misunderstanding between the two of them."
According to the police report, while they were in separate custody, Rodman asked jailers to tell Electra he was sorry he had overreacted and that he loved her.
Today prosecutors said they have dropped the charges and the judge has dismissed the order for the two to stay away from each other.
Rodman and Electra made headlines last year when they married in Las Vegas. The two filed for divorce in April.
