Cruise, Paltrow Voted Most Overrated Actors

Tom Cruise and Gwyneth Paltrow were voted most overrated actors by magazine readers, but the poll also chose the "Shakespeare in Love" star as the "most glamorous celeb."

Oscar winner Angelina Jolie was chosen as the actress whom most voters wanted to be by the 3,500 people who responded to the Jane magazine 2000 Entertainment Poll in the June/July issue. Runners-up were Julia Roberts and Drew Barrymore.

Roberts also received the second-most votes for most overrated female actor, followed by Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Behind Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt came in second and third as the most overrated male actors.

The poll of mostly female readers showed that audiences like to have a love-hate relationship with stars.

While "Friends" couple Chandler and Monica, played by Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox Arquette, were voted the TV couple that should stay together, the pair was also voted the "TV couple that should break up already."

Voters selected Hole frontwoman Courtney Love as the celeb whom they wanted to nominate for president. Oprah Winfrey and Kevin Spacey followed.
