One phone call turned a routine traffic stop into anything but routine, according to Cincinnati police.

In court Monday, prosecutors said that Officer Jeff Bly pulled Theresa Walker over just before midnight on Saturday.

While Bly was in his cruiser writing a ticket, police said, Walker, 43, became upset with how long it was taking him, WLWT-TV in Cincinnati reported.

Police said Walker called District 3 headquarters and threatened to shoot Bly if he did not write the ticket faster.

Walker was arrested and charged with aggravated menacing.

In court, her attorney said that Walker told police that she would sue them, not shoot him.

She was ordered held on $10,000 bond.
