Every single freakin' person I know is in love with the WB show "Buffy, The Vampire Slayer." And I only know hip Gen-Xers! So there must be something to it. As far as I'm concerned, everyone else on the show can go to hell as long as James Marsters, who plays the wonderful villain Spike, gets immediately elected to the The Man Hall of Fame (i.e., the Hall of Fame for the guys about whom you'd say, "He is the man!). There was a time when yours truly was very much involved in the comings and goings of the "Days of Our Lives" clan. Now, with this dumb job taking up all my time, I can't keep up. So I'm not really sure what's going on with Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Brandon (Matt Cedeno); last I heard Sami was having trouble hanging on to little Will and Brandon's past was on the verge of coming to light. You may not immediately recognize the name Charmian Carr. OK, I'll give you a hint: "I am sixteen, going on seventeen ?" Eh? Eh? She's written an autobiography called "Forever Liesl," the name for which either implies that she's happy about always being known as cute 'lil Liesl von Trapp or that she's had it up to here with people coming up to her and saying, "Hey, weren't you Liesl?" Vin Diesel cannot be stopped! Vin Diesel on the rampage! Vin Diesel is back, and this time, it's personal. Vin Diesel has a super-cool name, two movies coming out soon ("Pitch Black" and "The Boiler Room") and is chatting like there's no more tomorrows for Vin Diesel! VIN DIESEL. Even if Vin Diesel wasn't chatting today I would still write a blurb about Vin Diesel just so I could repeatedly write Vin Diesel's name.
