Will Smith's Wife Gives Birth To Girl

Actor Will Smith and wife actress Jada Pinkett Smith are the new parents of a baby girl.

The couple's publicist said that Willow Camille Reign Smith was born in a Los Angeles-area hospital on Tuesday. She weighs 6 pounds, 10 ounces.

The couple has a 3-year-old son, Jaden Christopher, and the rapper and actor has a son, Trey, from a previous marriage.

Will Smith, currently starring in the film "The Legend of Bagger Vance," is also known for his starring roles in "Men in Black" and "Independence Day."

Jada Pinkett Smith's co-stars in Spike Lee's "Bamboozled." She also co-starred in "The Nutty Professor," "Scream 2" and the sitcom "A Different World."

The couple, who married Dec. 31, 1997, first met when she auditioned for the role of his girlfriend for the 1990s TV series "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,'" though the part ultimately went to Nia Long.
