Chat With Fred Durst, Aaron Carter

Also Friday-Sunday: Malcolm-Jamal Warner, 'Charlie's Angels' Director, Dar Williams and Billy Ray Cyrus In Concert

Limp BizkitHope your neck feels limber, 'cuz there'll be some head-bangin' in the old town tonight. Hard rock hot commodity and someday tragic "Behind the Music" subject Limp Bizkit has an oddly dynamic lead singer in Fred Durst (on the left). He looks like your next-door neighbor's obnoxious son who works at Pizza Hut, talks like your next-door neighbor's obnoxious son who works at Pizza Hut, sounds like your next-door neighbor's obnoxious son who works at Pizza Hut, but he's a superstar. It's neat. Never understimate the power of next-door neighbors' sons who work at Pizza Hut. Chat with him this Friday on yahoo.com at 8 p.m. EST, 7 p.m. CST, 6 p.m. MST, 5 p.m. PST.

When you've got a sure-fire hit like the movie version of "Charlie's Angels," it doesn't matter if your director has a dumb name. Calling himself McG, apparently because he thinks himself to be some sort of Irish rapper, Joseph McGinty Nichol has never done anything of note before helming this Drew Barrymore / Lisa Liu / Cameron Diaz blockbuster, leading this observer to believe that changing his full name to "E" will get him behind the camera for the next "Star Wars" film. I'm sorry, but I feel very strongly about dumb names. Anyway, chat wit Mr. G this Friday on usatoday.com at 5 p.m. EST, 4 p.m. CST, 3 p.m. MST, 2 p.m. PST.

When I was a kid, way back in the glory days of the '80s, "The Cosby Show" was the be-all-end-all of entertainment. I was a Cosbyphile, and I taped each episode and watched it over and over until I could recite it by heart. I was also insane, but that doesn't change the fact that it was a great show, full of warmth and humor and amusing sweaters. Malcolm Jamal-Warner was one of the more celebrated of the Cosby kids, and has gone on to the successful "Malcolm and Eddie." Chat with Malcolm this Friday on yahoo.com at 8 p.m. EST, 7 p.m. CST, 6 p.m. MST, 5 p.m. PST.

That Dar Williams -- she's Dar-iffic! She's a Dar-gonzola of Dar-minating Dar-picacity! No wait, don't leave; I can do this, I swear. Dar Williams is a New England folkie who has been compared favorably to Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez. Lots of people I knew in college like her; that's how I know so much about her (I went to a small liberal arts school, if that completes the picture at all). She'll be performing and it will be broadcast on twec.com this Sunday at 7 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. CST, 5 p.m. MST, 4 p.m. PST. Or, if you're an insomniac folkie, try catching it on Saturday at 3 a.m. EST, 2 a.m. CST, 1 a.m. MST, 12 midnight PST.

Remember back to the early '90s? Despite the fact that the "Cosby Show" was winding down fast, there was still joy in the world, and a majority of it came from the experience of coming together as a nation and sharing the true nature of our achy-breaky hearts with one another. We have Billy Ray Cyrus, that Herculean walking mullet, to thank for this anthem of achy-breaky-heartedness. Billy Ray will be performing this Sunday, and it will be broadcast on hob.com at 3 p.m. EST, 2 p.m. CST, 1 p.m. MST, 12 noon PST.

Aaron CarterI'm sorry, but I feel a bit cheated. Here I was, thinking that Aaron Carter was a smooth R&B crooner. Then I see a picture of a tow-headed moppet whose face looks like it was carefully put together in some sort of teen-scream factory after close and careful consideration of painstaking market research. But of course, I'm not Aaron Carter's target demographic, so don't listen to me. Carter is the younger brother of one of the Backstreet Boys (the cute one, I believe), and has three albums to date, including the latest, "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)." Tell your kids to chat with him on this Friday on msn.com at 8 p.m. EST, 7 p.m. CST, 6 p.m. MST, 5 p.m. PST.
