Actress Sandra Bullock has been granted a temporary restraining order against a 34-year-old man who she claims has been stalking her across the country.

Sandra Bullock in 'Two Weeks Notice'Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scot Gordon granted the temporary restraining order Friday against Thomas James Weldon, who has been ordered not to contact the actress or come within 200 yards of her.

According to the complaint, Bullock, 38, alleges that Weldon has followed her to California, Texas and South Carolina, and has sent her several e-mails and faxes. In addition, Bullock claims Weldon has left voice mail messages for her at her production company and with her family that allegedly say he wants to have a relationship with her.

The complaint said Weldon, a man born in Michigan, but that now lives in Los Angeles, has admitted he refuses to take medication for paranoid schizophrenia.

Court papers also allege that Weldon has violated a "no-contact" order Bullock has against the man in Texas.

A hearing has been set for June 6 to hear Bullock's request to make the temporary restraining order permanent.

Bullock has starred in such films as "Speed," "While You Were Sleeping," "Miss Congeniality" and "Two Weeks Notice."
