Treatment Uses Body Wrap To Remove Cellulite
Wrap Yourself In Creams, Seaweed, Foil

BALTIMORE -- Who wouldn't love to take a little fat off their thighs or waistline? Now, a treatment called the Cellutox offers that possibility, plus reducing the appearance of cellulite, reported WBAL-TV in Baltimore.
Marni Peters is already in good shape; she runs and swims several times a week. But there are still challenges.
"You get dimples here and there. It's hard to keep the fat off; (I) do all this stuff, and it's still kind of there," Peters said.
Esthetician Emily Norfolk measured Peters' thighs, hips and waist for comparison later. Then it was on to the foil for the Cellutox wrap.
First, Peters was dry brushed. Next, a contouring silhouette cream was rubbed into Peters' skin to tighten the skin. After the contouring cream, seaweed was put on Peters' skin to help move fluid through the body and even exfoliate her skin.
Then Peters was wrapped in a kind of foil with hot towels, and she sat for 20 minutes or so. A mini facial completed the experience.
Then Peters was unwrapped and steamed for a while.
The Cellutox wrap is a damp experience for everyone -- including the therapist -- so don't go with your hair done.
Peters lost one-half inch in each thigh, one-half inch off her hips and, best of all, 1¼ inches off her waist.
The wrap takes about one hour to complete and costs around $95. Therapists said the treatment works best if you have a series, maybe one a month.
