Police located a Dodge Durango possibly belonging to a missing Fort Worth woman Monday morning near Interstate 35W in Denton, which is north of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

An Amber Alert has been issued for Lisa Underwood, 34, and her son Jayden, 7. They have been missing now for at least two days, police said.

The SUV was found nose down in a ravine in South Hickory Creek where the creek runs near Denton Municipal Airport on the southwestern edge of Denton.

Fort Worth police were using bloodhounds to search the area and plan a news conference for Monday afternoon to discuss the investigation.

Investigators believe the mother, who is seven months pregnant, and son were abducted from their home in north Fort Worth.

Police describe the case as a unique situation because it's not often an Amber Alert is issued for a mother and child. Investigators said there is evidence in the home of foul play.

Fort Worth police issued the Amber Alert late Saturday night after friends notified police.

The Underwoods not only missed a morning birthday party, but Lisa Underwood also missed her own baby shower. Friday night was the last time anyone heard from the woman.

A police report says relatives checking on her home found a large pool of blood on the living room floor.

Underwood isn't married. Police say her son's father is among those being contacted.
