TAMPA -- Shannon Sharpe and Jason Sehorn were just a few of the players that made the most of their last chance to throw some jabs during Thursday's press conference. After Thursday, media will not be allowed access to either team.

Ravens head coach Brian Billick on Ozzie Newsome -- "He is all about winning. He has no ego, which is great for balance with my over exaggerated ego."

Ravens defensive tackle Tony Siragusa

  • on his admiration for Giants defensive end Michael Strahan -- "He tasted my ribs at my restaurant and said he'd be back. I was glad about that."
  • on being on the cover of Sports Illustrated-- "We went for an away game in the middle of the season, and I was thinking, 'If you get on the cover of Sports Illustrated, you have arrived. I never in a million years thought that I would have been on the cover. I was very happy about that'".
  • on teammate Ray Lewis-- "Ray Lewis -- in my eyes -- is the best linebacker to ever play the game."

    Ravens tight end Shannon Sharpe

  • on if he had ever scored a 96-yard touchdown before he accomplished it against the Raiders in the AFC Championship game -- "No, not in college, not in high school, not in pee-wee. In pee-wee football we only played on 50-yard fields. But I had a lot of 48's."
  • on jawing with Strahan -- "We talk all the time. When I see him at golf tournaments, he always thinks that he is Phil Mickelson, which he is not."
  • on if the Ravens are cocky -- "Are we cocky? Yes. Is that a good thing? Maybe not for y'all, but for us, yes, that's who we are. We can't change. I use the analogy, a leopard is a leopard, whether he's in the Serengeti or the zoo."

Ravens safety Rod Woodson on if this might be his last chance to win the Super Bowl -- "It might be the last chance for all the rookies out here. You never know. You don't know what your fate is and you never know how many opportunities you are going to have."

Giants defensive end Michael Strahan on Jessie Armstead's role as a leader -- "Jessie's the guy who's going to run his mouth. He's an X-rated version -- no a triple X-rated version of Michael Barrow. Before we go out for the game, Jessie's the on in the middle of the huddle yelling, 'Oh, we've got to bleep, bleep, bleep, bleep.'"

    Giants cornerback Jason Sehorn--

  • on the Baltimore receivers -- "? that's the misnomer that people try to put into judging Baltimore's receivers." (This quote wasn't that great, but the fact that a football player used the word MISNOMER properly should be noted.)
  • on Sharpe's incessant talking on the field -- "You hear it like shrapnel. It's coming from the side and it's not really hitting you and it's kind of bouncing off you and glancing off you. Fortunately for me, I don't have to cover him, so I don't have to hear it as much."
  • on whether or not Sharpe can out run the Giants cornerbacks the way he did in Oakland -- "Oh please, poor Shannon? He can do everything well, he just can't run faster than a DB. Maybe in Oakland, but not here."

Giants wide receiver Ron Dixon on what his life story would be titled -- "From the toilet bowl to the Super Bowl. The reason is that I used to work in this gas station and that was part of my duties to work maintenance and I had to make sure the bathroom was clean."

Giants linebacker Jessie Armstead on having the former Giants attend the NFC Championship game -- "Lawrence Taylor told me, 'Just keep up what you are doing and you'll be the second best linebacker to come through New York.'"
