Chat With Gervase From "Survivor," Wyclef Jean

Also Monday: Dee Snider, Dar Williams, Vincent D'Onofrio

Gervase of SurvivorI admit it! I've been sucked in! I thought I was sooooo superior to fleeting pop culture trends, sitting on my ivory tower made of Orson Welles films and Miles Davis CDs -- ha! Now I'd trade 'em all to see my life put back in alignment by erasing all memory of Gervase's tragic banishment from "Survivor". I heard he was supposed to win! How could they do this to me? Anyway, I suppose you can ask Gervase himself on yahoo.com at 9 p.m. EST, 8 p.m. CST, 6 p.m. PST.

As the uncontested frontman of Twisted Sister," Dee Snider was the guy that the old folks scoffed at in the '80s. There stood Dee, on the front of their kids' albums, manic wide eyes flaring, wearing enough makeup and big hair to kill a lesser man, telling youths that "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "You Can't Stop Rock 'n Roll." The children of the '60s looked at him, saw that the times had passed them by, and panicked. Decidedly ungroovy, cats. Chat with the good ol' provocateur on yahoo.com at 8 p.m. EST, 7 p.m. CST, 5 p.m. PST.

Vincent D'Onofrio will never get his due, because he's just too darn versatile. He was the put-upon Gomer Pyle in "Full Metal Jacket," he was the main villain, Edgar, in "Men In Black," Orson Welles in "Ed Wood," and made appearances in "JFK," "Mystic Pizza," "Dying Young," "The Player," "Strange Days" and now "The Cell." In case you missed him Friday, chat with him this on msn.com at 9 p.m. EST, 8 p.m. CST, 6 p.m. PST.

That Dar Williams -- she's Dar-iffic! She's a Dar-gonzola of Dar-minating Dar-picacity! No wait, don't leave; I can do this, I swear. Dar Williams is a New England folkie who has been compared favorably to Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez. Lots of people I knew in college like her; that's how I know the name (I went to a small liberal arts school, if that completes the picture at all). Her latest is called "Green World," and she'll be chatting about it on borders.com at 9 p.m. EST, 8 p.m. CST, 6 p.m. PST.

Wyclef JeanMan, those Fugees just can't lose. Lauryn Hill I'm sure you now about, but the other two members of the rap supergroup, Wyclef Jean and Pras, haven't exactly been dragging their proverbial heels. Wyclef, for example, scored a big hit with "We Trying To Stay Alive" and its album, "The Carnival," in 1997. He now has new one, "The Ecleftic," about which he'll be chatting on bn.com at 9 p.m. EST, 8 p.m. CST, 6 p.m. PST.
