Win 'Cleopatra' On DVD
A winner of 5 Academy Awards, the legendary 1963 film tells the sweeping story of Cleopatra (Elizabeth Taylor), the Queen of the Nile who manipulates Julius Caesar (Rex Harrison) and Marc Antony (Richard Burton) in an ill-fated attempt to save the Egyptian empire. The film also stars Roddy McDowall, Hume Cronyn, Pamela Brown and Martin Landau.
Landau provides film commentary on the DVD, along with the film's publicist, Jack Brodsky, and Chris and Tom Mankiewicz, sons of director Joseph L. Mankiewicz. Other features on the DVD include a two-hour behind the scenes documentary, "Cleopatra, The Film That Changed Hollywood," the 1963 featurette, "The Fourth Star of Cleopatra," archival footage from the New York and Hollywood premiere of the film, and an exclusive still gallery with behind-the-scenes photos, costume sketches, costume art and more.
