Michael 'Kramer' Richards To Star In Sitcom

Castle Rock TV has signed Michael Richards, who played Kramer on Seinfeld, to star as a bungling detective in a forthcoming sitcom, trade reports said today (Friday).

The show would be produced and written by Spike Fereston, Andy Robin and Gregg Kavet, all of whom wrote for Seinfeld.

NBC reportedly hopes to begin airing the as-yet-unnamed series beginning in early spring, the trade papers said.
