Trying to beat the cold this winter? Consider planning a trip to one of these sporting events held in warm-weathered locations.

Super Bowl, Tampa Bay, Fla., Feb. 1
Want to open Feb-brrr-uary in sunny Florida? This year's NFL title game will be played at Tampa Bay's Raymond James Stadium, where the temperatures can rise above 70 degrees in the winter months.

Pro Bowl, Honolulu, Hawaii, Feb. 8
The NFL's top NFC and AFC players will gather in Honolulu for the annual Pro Bowl game. The league's all-star game has been played at Aloha Stadium since 1980.

Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Pebble Beach, Calif., Feb. 9-15
The 72-hole golf tournament features pairings of professional golfers and Hollywood celebrities. The event started in the 1930s when Bing Crosby gathered a few friends for a round of golf to raise money for charity. Celebrities including Kenny G, Chris Berman and Andy Garcia have committed to play in the 2009 event. They will join some of the PGA's top golfers.

Buick Invitational, La Jolla, Calif., Feb. 2-8
If you're hoping to see Tiger Woods on the course, don't expect to see him at Pebble Beach. The earliest the world's top golfer could potentially return to the PGA Tour could be the week before the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, at the Buick Invitational, which is being held at Torrey Pines -- the site of Woods' 2008 U.S. Open victory. The last time Woods played a round of competitive golf was at the U.S. Open, where he played with an injury to defeat Rocco Mediate in a playoff to win his 14th major.

NBA All-Star Games, Phoenix, Feb. 15
The league's top players will gather in Phoenix for the annual All-Star game. In the 2008 edition, the Eastern All-Stars defeated the Western Conference 134-128.

World Baseball Classic, Multiple Locations, March
The world's top baseball players will compete in the international World Baseball Classic. Several of the rounds will be held in the U.S., with San Diego (March 15-19) and Miami (March 14-18) hosting second-round action and Los Angeles hosting the finals March 21-23.
