"Your Source For Obscure TV!" That's what TVobscurities.com claims to be.

Out there in TV land, there are tons of programs that have been all but forgotten as well as some that just couldn't cut it. There are even some selections that would prompt people to wonder, "What were they thinking?"

Many of these old, forgotten titles and some more recent ones can be found on TVobscurities.com.

The Web site began as "Television That Time Forgot" in the late 1990s, evolving into Television Obscurities in late 2002. Then, it consisted mainly of six features, according to the site.

Today's TV Obscurities includes articles on topics that include short-lived programs, unsold pilots and lost TV promos, among other things. There are also summaries from shows that aired only once during their original runs.

Articles such as the recently published "CBS: On The Air -- A Celebration of 50 Years" and "Forty Years Of Star Trek" reach back and pull TV history to the forefront.

However, the people of TV Obscurities don't want to go it alone when it comes to TV memories. They invite people who are tuned in to television gone by to contribute to the site, which has an ever-growing collection of audio and video files, images and summaries.

Amid the hype of TV programs nowadays, TV Obscurities has become one answer to the age-old question, "Remember when ... ?"
