He isn't on the U.S list of the 55 most wanted fugitives in Iraq but his face and voice may be synonymous with the war with Iraq.

Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf

Iraq's Information Minister Mohammed Saeed Al-Sahhf was known for his daily briefings about the progress of the war, but he hasn't been seen since the day Saddam Hussein's statue toppled. However, there is a place where he can be seen often -- on the Web.

Al-Sahhf was famous for his colorful vocabulary and a knack for exaggeration. When tanks were rolling into Baghdad, the Information Minister said that U.S. troops were nowhere near the capital.

Because of his tall tales, he's emerged as quite a cult figure. A site devoted to him -- WeLoveTheIraqi InformationMinister.com -- was so overwhelmed with traffic that it even had to shut down for the first several days.

The site started out as a private joke between friends but now it is known all over the world. The site collects all of the memorable insults Al-Sahhf has hurled at the United States and the various jokes and parodies that have surfaced in the wake of his celebrity.

The site speculates what he would have said throughout history, what his next job would be (weatherman, anyone?) and which actor would play him in a Hollywood version of his life.

And if you can't get enough on him on this site, you can now have your very own action figure of Al-Sahhf. For $35.95, you can hear the doll say, "There are no American infidels in Baghdad" as often as you want.
