Do you like to make movies, but can’t get anyone to watch them?

If you're a young Francis Ford Coppola, or someone just looking to take a great idea, put it on video and show the world, you’ll want to check out Eveo.com.

"Eveo.com" gives directors or wannabe directors a forum to showcase some of their pet projects. It's a site that accepts 3- to 4-minute videos and posts them for everyone to see.

Movies on eveo.comThe movies cover a wide variety of genres including comedy, sports, short fiction, twisted and true life.

But here's the best part: The site claims that it will give you 5 cents every time someone views your movie. That's not much, but then again, how much would you be making without the site?

It's also an opportunity for other directors and producers, who may frequent the site, to possibly discover the next Quentin Tarantino or Tim Burton.

The site also offers contests for significantly more than 5 cents. The site reports that its last winner took home $25,000 while the runners-up pulled down a mere $3,000.

They do have a few caveats though. The site reserves the right to reject materials that contain depictions of pornography, extreme violence or copyrighted material.

If you're not a director but you appreciate independent movies, you can kick back in front of your computer and be your own movie critic.

The site is a lot of fun for any movie buff, and a nice opportunity for those trying to get their foot in the movie industry door.

All right, maybe just a big toe.
